Cleo Massey is the daughter of Anna Waters-Massey and sister of Joey Massey , also both actors.

In 2006 she played with her mother in the short film Humidity Rising and was cast in the role of eleven-year-old Kim Sertori for the television series H 2 O - Suddenly Mermaid . Meanwhile, she took on minor roles in My Embarrassing Parents and Monarch Cove . In 2008 she played the role of Aash Aaron in Vigilante and the role of director in ICU
Since 2010, Massey decided to follow the example of her mother for roles in short films. In 2015 she embarked on a career as a director and directed the television series Mums Stage .
