Clifford Stine

Clifford Stine (born March 24, 1906 in California , † February 12, 1986 in Pomona , California) was an American cameraman.

Life

Clifford Stine began his career in film as a second camera assistant at DeMille Studios. In his role as 1st camera assistant, he was involved in the filming of King Kong and the white woman . In his further professional career he developed into an expert for special effects. He was also one of the few cameramen who could use the 3D film process . The films that Stine was responsible for as chief cameraman are less significant than those for which he did special effects and additional shots.
