Climb! (Subtitle: Climbing indoors and outdoors ) was a German-language special-interest magazine for sport climbers . It was initially published four times a year and later up to eight times a year by Bruckmann Verlag in Munich . In addition to climbing, it was the most important magazine on sport climbing in German-speaking countries.
Climb! was the first German climbing magazine that also devoted itself to the topic of indoor climbing on a large scale and contributed to the fact that the growing number of climbing hall users is also reflected in the magazine sector. This development was not only met with approval: Critics criticized the too much attention they considered to indoor climbing.
According to the editorial team , the target group comprised the range from amateur climbers to committed sport climbers. In addition to area presentations, climbing hall presentations and news from the climbing world, the content also included articles on theoretical and practical topics such as training and climbing technique .
The magazine was first published in January 2006, with a total of four issues in 2006. Due to the great success, the editorial team increased the frequency to six issues from January 2007 and in 2008 to eight issues per year. The last issue was published in November 2010. From 2011 Climb! in the magazine climbing on.
