Clivio Piccione
Clivio Piccione (born February 24, 1984 in Monte Carlo ) is a former Monaco racing driver .
Career
In 1997 Piccione began his karting career . The Monegasque moved in 2001 to the single-seater racing in the British Formula Ford . The following year Piccione switched to the B-Class of British Formula 3 and was runner-up behind Adam Carroll with three wins . In 2003 Piccione switched to the A-Class of British Formula 3 at Manor Motorsport and finished eleventh in the overall standings. He managed to win a race. A year later he finished fourth overall in British Formula 3 for Carlin Motorsport . He was able to win two races this season.
In 2005 Piccione moved to Durango in the GP2 series . He won the sprint race on the Nürburgring and achieved 16th place in the overall standings with 14 points. Piccione also competed in the GP2 series in 2006 . Starting for David Price Racing , he scored 18 points and finished twelfth overall at the end of the season. In 2007 Monegasse moved to the World Series by Renault for RC Motorsport . Piccione took 15th place in the overall ranking.
In 2008 Piccione took part in two races of the Euroseries 3000 and was tenth overall. In the 2008–2009 season , Piccione took part in the A1 Grand Prix for his home country Monaco . After two seasons in the FIA GT Championship , he ended his driving career at the end of 2011.
