history
The club was founded on October 24, 1902 , but rugby was not played by the club until 1907; the club is the record champions of the Buenos Aires Regional Championship with 33 titles. In 1935 , some players and parts of the club's management were excluded due to ideological differences, and so founded the San Isidro Club (SIC).
The games between SIC and CASI have been contested local derbies ever since . The last of them was the final of the URBA Championship ( Torneo de la URBA ) 2005, which CASI won with a penalty kick in the last minute with 18-17, after 20 years without a URBA title.
