Coast Air was a Norwegian airline headquartered in Haugesund . The airline was Norway's fourth largest airline after SAS Braathens , Widerøe and Norwegian . The airline was owned 100% by TS Industri Invest AS (Trygve Seglem) (through Kystfly AS ). Coast Air last had around 85 employees. On January 23, 2008, the airline filed for bankruptcy.
history
The company existed since 1975. Since 1986 it operated under the name Coast Aero Center at Haugesund Airport . In the early years the company owned the Piper PA-31 Navajo and De Havilland Canada Twin Otter aircraft types . In 1993 she received her first BAe Jetstream 31 .
Coast Air ceased operations on January 23, 2008.
