action
The XANA computer virus tries to occupy the real world from the virtual world of Lyoko. Only the three friends Ulrich, Odd and Yumi can get to Lyoko as "warriors of Lyoko" with the help of their friend Jeremie, a supercomputer and a scanner, in order to stop XANA there. Aelita stands by their side, a girl who also went to Lyoko a long time ago, but cannot leave there until the end of the first season. In Lyoko, children have combat equipment, weapons and special skills such as telekinesis .
characters
- Jeremie Belpois
- Jeremie is the brain of the group. With the help of a supercomputer, he ensures that the others can go to Lyoko using a scanner, during which time he can communicate and contact them using a headset .
- Ulrich Stern
- Ulrich is rather silent and is rather cool , he is very interested in martial arts, some of which he also practices. Ulrich seems to be in love with Yumi, but is too shy to tell her. He has short brown hair and in Lyoko his outfit is based on that of a samurai or ninja , his weapon is accordingly one and then two katana up to the beginning of the fourth season .
- Odd Della Robbia
- Odd has, according to his name ( odd = English for bizarre , strange or strange ), the strangest and most eccentric character of Code Lyoko, never particularly serious, always saying what goes through his head, and in school except in Not particularly good in the artistic subjects, you might think that life is just a game for him, where you only do what you enjoy. In fact, despite everything, his friends can rely on him when it matters most. Odd has blonde hair that sticks straight from his head and has a pattern in the shape of a purple diamond on the front. His clothes consist of a purple over- shirt and a magenta under- shirt , with black bell-bottoms and yellow skate shoes . In Lyoko, Odd looks like a big purple cat and his weapons are laser arrows.
- Yumi Ishiyama
- At 14 years old, Yumi is the oldest of the group and is originally from Japan . Just like Ulrich, she is more of an introvert and also seems to have more than friendship for him, but does not think it necessary to take the first step. Yumi has black, shoulder-length hair and mostly wears a black, crop-neck sweater and black jeans pants. Her first outfit in Lyoko is that of a geisha , the second that of a Kunoichi . She uses two compartments for fighting .
- Aelita
- Aelita and her father went to Lyoko ten years ago. While she was able to materialize, this was not possible for her father, who only appears as a kind of ball of energy in Lyoko. Both were then attacked by XANA, whereupon Aelita had to flee into one of the towers, which are scattered all over Lyoko and represent a kind of portal into the real world. Before Aelita could return, however, her father turned off the supercomputer to protect her. Ten years later, Jeremie accidentally discovered the supercomputer with Aelita. Aelita has pink hair and has seemed to have feelings for him since she first saw Jeremie.
- XANA
- XANA is a computer virus that tries to occupy the world. To do this, he uses the towers in Lyoko to get into the real world. XANA has the ability to control electricity and to possess humans and animals. He can only be stopped by Aelita deactivating the towers together with the others and thus stopping his influence on the real world, but only until he finds a new tower. In Lyoko, XANA has a large number of monsters available to defend the towers, some of which look like robots, aliens or distorted images of real animals.
places
- Lyoko
- Lyoko is a virtual parallel world to ours that can only be accessed with the help of the supercomputer's scanner. Lyoko is divided into 5 sectors: the rock world, the forest area, the desert area, the ice world and Carthage, the core, also called sector 5. If you see Lyoko as a map on the computer, the sectors are arranged in a star shape, with Carthage in the middle.
- Kadic Junior High School
- Kadic Junior High School is the boarding school the kids go to. It is connected to the factory by an underground tunnel.
- factory
- The children usually get to the factory through a tunnel that leads directly from Kadic High. The supercomputer and the associated scanners are also located here.
Objects and items
- Supercomputers
- The supercomputer is a very high-performance computer with artificial intelligence that enables children to get to Lyoko using the computer's scanners.
- Towers
- The towers are scattered all over Lyoko, in a sense they form gates between her and the real world. Usually they are bathed in a green light, but if they start to glow red, it means that they have been activated by XANA and that it has partially succeeded in penetrating the real world. They can only be deactivated again by Aelita with the password code Lyoko . In addition, the towers help Aelita to regenerate if she is injured or wounded.
