The Codex Cyprius ( Gregory-Aland no. K e or 017 ; von Soden ε 71) is a Greek manuscript of the four Gospels , which is dated to the 9th century. The handwriting is complete.

description

It consists of the four Gospels on 267 sheets of parchment , but the codex is missing some parts of the Gospels.

The format is 26 × 19 cm, the text is in a column with 16–31 lines.

The Greek text of the Codex represents the Byzantine text and is assigned to Category V.

history

The manuscript was examined by Bernard de Montfaucon , Johann Martin Augustin Scholz , Johann Leonhard Hug , Samuel P. Tregelles , Konstantin von Tischendorf , Silva Lake, and William Hatch.

The codex is kept in the Bibliothèque nationale de France (Gr. 63).
