The Codex Vaticanus 354 ( Gregory-Aland no. S or 028 ; von Soden ε 1027) is a Greek manuscript of the New Testament , which is dated to 949. She is one of the oldest that the date has named. The codex is stored in the Vatican Library under the signature Gr. 354 kept in Rome . The handwriting is complete.
description
The manuscript consists of the four Gospels on 235 sheets of parchment (36 cm × 24 cm). the text is in two columns with 27 lines, with 15-17 letters in line. The letters lean to the right. Spiritus asper , Spiritus lenis and accents are missing.
Luke 22.43.44 and John 7.53–8.11 are objected to by signs.
It contains Epistula ad Carpianum , κεφαλαια, τιτλοι, the Eusebian canon , signatures, Stichoi and neumes .
