The Coldblow Col (English for Kaltwindpass ) is a snowy mountain pass of 300 m height on Coronation Island in the archipelago of the Southern Orkney Islands . It runs between Echo Mountain and the Cragsman Peaks .
The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS) surveyed the mountain pass in 1950. It was named after the fact that the tent of a FIDS team was torn down in a storm in September 1948 .
