Cole Sibus

Cole Sibus (born May 29, 1998 in California ) is an American athlete and actor .

Life

Sibus was born in California with trisomy 21 . At the age of eight he took part in the tennis team for the first time in the Special Olympics, and he also shot videos with his sister as a child. Together with his sister, he ran the YouTube channel ColeAndLo .

Act

As an athlete, Sibus took part in the National Special Olympics for the New Jersey swim team in 2014 and won a gold medal.

In 2017, Sibus worked professionally in front of the camera for the first time in the Emmy- winning documentary series Born This Way, which accompanies young adults with trisomy 21. In 2018 he had his first role as an actor in the movie Spare Room . Since 2019 he has played the role of Ansel Parios, the brother of Dex Parios, played by Cobie Smulders in the ABC series Stumptown .
