Lower reaches of the Coleen River

The Coleen River is an approx. 85 km long right tributary of the Porcupine River in the Interior of Alaska .

It rises in the Davidson Mountains , a mountain range of the Brooks Range , and flows south between the Sheenjek River and the border with the Canadian Yukon Territory . Its confluence with the Porcupine River lies east of the Coleen Mountains .

The Coleen River is part of the river system of the Yukon River and lies entirely in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge .
