The Coleman nunatak is a nunatak in Marie Byrd Land in West Antarctica . It rises 3 km south of Patton Bluff near the head of the Berry Glacier .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it using its own surveys and aerial photographs by the United States Navy from 1959 to 1965. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1966 after Richard I. Coleman, a meteorologist at Byrd Station in 1962.
