The Cole Prize ( English Cole Prize or Frank Nelson Cole Prize in full ) is a pair of awards for outstanding mathematical achievements, which are currently awarded every three years by the American Mathematical Society (AMS). One award is for work on algebra and the other for number theory . Only members of the AMS or persons whose articles have appeared in well-known US American journals can receive the award, which is currently (2007) endowed with US $ 5,000.

The award is named after Frank Nelson Cole (1861–1926), a mathematics professor at Harvard and Columbia and elected secretary of the AMS from 1895 to 1920.
