Richard "Dick" Cheese , real name Mark Jonathan Davis (born November 27, 1965 ), is an American singer and front man of the Los Angeles- based cover band Richard Cheese and Lounge Against the Machine .

Career

Cheese, which mostly performs in Las Vegas , is known for cover versions of alternative and pop songs performed in the style of a big band or lounge music .

The cheese cover of the Disturbed title Down With the Sickness was part of the soundtrack of the 2004 film Dawn of the Dead and thus gained greater notoriety.

"Richard" often leads to the nickname "Dick" in English-speaking countries . "Dick Cheese" is a slang term for smegma .
