Collage is a Polish progressive rock band that was formed in 1984.

Band history

Mirosław Gil and Wojciech Szadkowski formed the band in 1984 under the name Blue Island. They soon played their first concerts with Przemysław Zawadzki, Jurek Barczuk and Jarek Wajk, made their first recordings in 1985 and changed the name to collage.

In the following years some line-up changes took place; Jacek Korzeniowski and Tomek Różycki for Barczuk and Jarek Majka, who had already replaced Wajk, joined the band for their debut album . But this occupation did not remain stable, the two new additions and Zawadzki left before the 1993's John Lennon - cover album the band Korzeniowski but was still involved as a guest musician.

Robert Amirian, Piotr Witkowski and Krzysztof Palczewski have now become new members. With them was Moonshine , now a classic of neo-progressive rock recorded. Collage released another compilation and another, less successful studio album. The band's activities ceased in 1996 and disbanded in 2003. A year later, Metal Mind Productions released a DVD with video clips and live recordings from the 1990s. Szadkowski, Amirian, and Palczewski eventually founded Satellite ; Gil, Różycki and Zawadzki founded Believe .

At the end of 2013 Gil, Witkowski, Palczewski and Szadkowski came together again as a collage with the new singer Karol Wróblewski, announced a new album and played concerts.
