Colorado State University
The Colorado State University (CSU) is a public university in Fort Collins in the US state of Colorado . Around 25,000 students were enrolled in 2004.

The university has changed its name several times in the course of its history:
- 1879: Agricultural College of Colorado
 - 1935: Colorado College of Agricultural and Mechanic Arts
 - 1944: Colorado Agricultural and Mechanical College (Colorado A&M)
 - 1957: Colorado State University
 
Sports
The CSU is known nationwide for its college football team, the Colorado State Rams . The university is a member of the Mountain West Conference .
