The Comarca Metropolitana de Jaén is one of the 10 comarcas in the Spanish province of Jaén , in the west of which it is located. Like all comarcas in the Autonomous Community of Andalusia , it was set up with effect from March 28, 2003.
The comarca consists of 16 communities on an area of 1755.56 km².
