Communauté de communes Est-Épinal Développement

The Communauté de communes Est-Épinal Développement was a communal union of seven communities immediately northeast of Épinal .

The municipal association founded on July 8, 2005 had 5458 inhabitants (2007) on 58.09 km², which corresponded to a population density of 94 inhabitants / km². The seat of the association was the municipality of Deyvillers .

The name of the association literally means development in the east of Épinal and indicates the close economic ties with the city of Épinal.

The municipal association was formed to bundle the material resources of the communities and to coordinate economic and tourist development. The area of ​​responsibility of the municipal association includes spatial planning and cross-community economic development. The Communauté de communes Est-Épinal Développement has also set itself the goal of working closely together in the fields of culture, sport and environmental protection.

On January 1, 2012, the Communauté de communes Est-Épinal Développement in the new municipal association Agglomération d'Épinal .
