The Communauté de communes du Canton de Belmont-de-la-Loire was a French association of municipalities ( Communauté de communes ) in the Loire department and the region Rhone-Alpes . It was founded on December 21, 1993 as the successor to a SIVOM established in 1983 and merged with the Communauté de communes Le Pays de Charlieu to form the Charlieu-Belmont Communauté at the turn of the year 2012/2013 .
