The Communauté de communes du Carmausin is a former community association ( Communauté de communes ) in the southern French department of Tarn in the Midi-Pyrénées region . It included the three municipalities of Blaye-les-Mines , Carmaux and Saint-Benoît-de-Carmaux .
history
The three member communities formed a SIVOM since 1964 . According to a law of July 12, 1999, this was transformed into today's Communauté de communes on January 1, 2002. In 2114, the community association merged with the Communauté de communes Ségala-Carmausin to form the new Communauté de communes Carmausin-Ségala .
tasks
The tasks of the community association included economic development and waste disposal as well as the construction of roads and public buildings.
