The Communauté de communes Ségala-Carmausin is a former community association ( Communauté de communes ) in the Tarn department in the south of France in the Midi-Pyrénées region . It was named after its location between the Ségala landscape in the Aveyron département to the north and the city of Carmaux in the south. This was the administrative seat of the community association, although it is not a member community. In 2014, the community association merged with the Communauté de communes du Carmausin to form the new Communauté de communes Carmausin-Ségala .

tasks

In addition to promoting economic development and spatial planning, the tasks of the community association also included environmental protection and the maintenance of local roads.
