The Communauté de communes du Val de Moder was a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the Bas-Rhin department in the Grand Est region . It was founded on November 9, 1999 and last consisted of six parishes. The administrative seat was in the municipality of Val de Moder . The name referred to the valley of the river Moder , in which the communities of the former community association were predominantly.

Historical development

With effect from January 1, 2016, the former member communities Pfaffenhoffen , Uberach and La Walck were merged to form Commune nouvelle Val de Moder .

On January 1, 2017, the community association was merged with the Communautés de communes Région de Haguenau , Région de Brumath and Bischwiller et Environs to form the new Communauté d'agglomération de Haguenau .
