The Conakry airport , also Gbessia Airport and internationally as Conakry International Airport or Gbessia International Airport is known, the airport of the capital Conakry in Guinea . It is the largest airport in the country and is operated by the government. It is used exclusively for civilian purposes and operates 24 hours a day.
Airlines and Destinations
Numerous airlines in the region fly to Conakry on scheduled flights to destinations in the area. Air France and Brussels Airlines come to Conakry on an intercontinental basis and serve Brussels and Paris from here . Even Emirates flies from Dubai to Conakry, the flights had but due to the Ebola outbreak in 2014 temporarily suspended.
