The Conconully Dam (National ID # WA00259) is a dam in Okanogan County , Washington state .

The earth dam was built from 1910 to 1911 with an original height of 21 meters by the United States Bureau of Reclamation during the first period of its activity and increased in 1920 and reconstructed in 1969. Today's height is 22 m, the crown length 328 m.

The Conconully Dam dams Salmon Creek for flood control and irrigation purposes; he is part of the larger Okanogan Project. On September 6, 1974, he was added to the National Register of Historic Places . The neighboring Salmon Lake Dam , built in 1921, and its reservoir, Conconully Lake, are part of the same project. Both dams are owned by the Bureau of Reclamation and operated by the local Okanogan Irrigation District .

Construction of the dam was interrupted by a strike in July 1909. Construction workers were offered a 25 cents a day increase, but asked for 50 cents. A report of the strike was published in Industrial Worker , a weekly newspaper for the Industrial Workers of the World published in Spokane .
