Conde is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in northern Portugal .
Conde belongs to the Guimarães county in the Braga district . The community had an area of 1.9 km² and 1380 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011). The community is predominantly urban.
On September 29, 2013, the parishes of Conde and Gandarela merged to form the new parish União das Freguesias de Conde e Gandarela .
