Conflicto Urbano (German: urban conflict ) is a hardcore band founded in 2009 from the Peruvian capital Lima .

history

Conflicto Urbano was founded in Lima in March 2009 and consists of Cesar Gutierrez Carbonel (vocals), Erlyn Correa Cruz (guitar), Willy Chilmaza Medina (guitar), Cesar Gutierrez Muñoz (drums) and Kenneth Quiroz Menacho (bass).

In May 2010 the first, untitled EP was released . This has six pieces. The debut album Desafío Del Miedo followed in February 2012, which was released via Vegan Records and Seven Eight Life Recordings , among others . In March and April 2012, the group toured South America for the first time . Concerts took place in Brazil , Argentina , Ecuador , Chile , Peru and Colombia .

Conflicto Urbano has supported Comeback Kid , Sick of It All and No Turning Back . In September 2014 the band released another EP called Miserables , this time on the Peruvian label DeadFear Records. A tour in Peru followed in October to promote this EP.

style

While the group was still largely unclear on the first EP about the direction in which the band's music should go, the Perserverancia fanzine describes that the group found itself on the debut album. Conflicto Urbano play an aggressive version of hardcore and mix it with elements of metal . The Perserverancia fanzine , however, denies classification in the Metalcore genre. The music is comparable to that of Terror and Hatebreed . The singing alternates between screaming and normally sung passages. The lyrics are all written in Spanish.
