Congress Center Basel
The Congress Center Basel is the largest congress center in Switzerland . It belongs to the MCH Group , which also operates Messe Basel , Messe Zurich and Expo Beaulieu Lausanne , among others .

The Congress Center is located in the city center on the Kleinbasel side, right next to the Basel Exhibition Center. The new Messe Basel building designed by Herzog & de Meuron is directly connected to the congress center.
Special events
From March 21 to 24, 2008, the publisher Dieter Hagenbach organized the World Psychedelic Forum (WPF) at the CCB with around 2000 visitors from 37 countries. The speakers included the psychotherapists Peter Gasser , Stanislav Grof and Ralph Metzner , the artist Alex Gray , the journalist Mathias Bröckers , MAPS founder Rick Doblin and the chemist Albert Hofmann .
On December 4 and 5, 2014, the 21st OSCE Council of Ministers met in the Congress Center Basel . Around 2000 participants from 57 member states came to Basel.
