The Connell Pond is a freshwater tümpel in East Antarctic Victoria Land . It is located in the plain known as the labyrinth in the west of the Wright Valley 800 m south of Rodriguez Pond in Healy Trough .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 2004 after Laurie Connell of the University of Maine , who examined the pond between 2003 and 2004 as part of the United States Antarctic Program .
