Cayrac ( Occitan : Cairac ) is a French commune with 549 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Tarn-et-Garonne department in the Occitanie region . Cayrac belongs to the arrondissement of Montauban and the canton of Quercy-Aveyron (until 2015: canton of Caussade ). The inhabitants are called Cayracois .

geography

Cayrac is located about 15 kilometers northeast of Montauban in the Quercy . The Aveyron limits the municipality to the south. Cayrac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Réalville in the north, Bioule in the east, Nègrepelisse in the south and southeast and Albias in the south and west.
