Lapenche ( Occitan : La Pencha ) is a French commune with 276 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Tarn-et-Garonne department in the Occitania region (until 2015: Midi-Pyrénées ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Montauban and is part of the canton of Quercy-Rouergue (until 2015: canton of Montpezat-de-Quercy ). The inhabitants are called Lapinchois .

Lapenche is located about 29 kilometers north-northeast of Montauban . Lapenche is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Belfort-du-Quercy in the north, Puylaroque in the northeast, Cayriech in the east, Caussade in the south and Montalzat in the west.
