Puycornet ( Occitan : Puègcornet ) is a French commune with 731 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Tarn-et-Garonne department in the Occitania region (before 2016: Midi-Pyrénées ). The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Montauban and is part of the canton of Pays de Serres Sud-Quercy (until 2015: canton of Molières ). The inhabitants are called Puycornéens .

Geographical location

Puycornet is located about 15 kilometers north-northwest of Montauban in the Quercy . Puycornet is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Vazerac and Labarthe in the north, Molières in the north and northeast, Mirabel in the east and southeast, L'Honor-de-Cos and Piquecos in the south and Lafrançaise in the west.
