Génébrières is located about twelve kilometers east-southeast of Montauban in the Quercy . Génébrières is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Étienne-de-Tulmont in the north, Vaïssac in the east and northeast, Monclar-de-Quercy in the east and southeast, La Salvetat-Belmontet in the south, Saint-Nauphary in the southwest and Léojac in the west.
