Bioule is a French commune with 1,113 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Tarn-et-Garonne department in the Occitanie region (previously Midi-Pyrénées ). It is part of the canton of Aveyron-Lère , was previously part of the canton of Nègrepelisse and is located in the arrondissement of Montauban . The inhabitants are called bioulais .

geography

Bioule is about 17 kilometers northeast of Montauban . To the south, the Aveyron River borders the municipality. Bioule is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Caussade in the north, Montricoux in the east, Nègrepelisse in the south, Cayrac in the west and Réalville in the north-west.
