Finhan is located about 15 kilometers southwest of Montauban on the Garonne , which forms the western municipal boundary. Finhan is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Montech in the north, Montbartier in the east, Monbéqui in the south and Mas-Grenier in the west and southwest. The place is on the former route nationale 123 (today's D813).
