Saint-Porquier is located about 13 kilometers west of Montauban on the Garonne , which forms the southwestern municipal boundary, and on the Canal latéral à la Garonne . Saint-Porquier is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Castelsarrasin in the north and west, La Ville-Dieu-de-Temple in the northeast, Escatalens in the south and east and Cordes-Tolosannes in the southwest. The A62 autoroute and the former Route nationale 113 (today's D813) run through the municipality .
