Mirabel ( Occitan : Mirabèl ) is a French commune with 1,036 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Tarn-et-Garonne department in the Occitanie region . Mirabel belongs to the arrondissement of Montauban and the canton of Quercy-Aveyron (until 2015: canton of Caussade ). The inhabitants are called Mirabelais .

geography

Mirabel is about 14 kilometers north-northeast of Montauban in the Quercy . Mirabel is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Molières in the north, Saint-Vincent-d'Autéjac in the east and northeast, Réalville in the east and southeast, Albias in the south, L'Honor-de-Cos in the west and southwest and Puycornet in the west.
