Loze ( Occitan : Lòse ) is a French commune with 144 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Tarn-et-Garonne department in the Occitania region (before 2016: Midi-Pyrénées ). The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Montauban and is part of the canton of Quercy-Rouergue (until 2015: canton of Caylus ). The inhabitants are called Loziens .

Geographical location

Loze is about 46 kilometers northeast of the city center of Montauban . Loze is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Projet in the north, Puylagarde in the east and north-east, Lacapelle-Livron in the south, Caylus in the south and south-west, Mouillac in the south-west and Vaylats in the west and north-west.
