Nohic ( Occitan : Noïc ) is a French commune with 1,369 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Tarn-et-Garonne department in the Occitania region (until 2015: Midi-Pyrénées ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Montauban and is part of the canton of Tarn-Tescou-Quercy vert (until 2015: canton of Grisolles ). The inhabitants are called Nohicois .
geography
Nohic is located about 15 kilometers south-southeast of Montauban and about 31 kilometers north of Toulouse . The Tarn limits the community in the northeast. Nohic is surrounded by the neighboring communities Reyniès in the north and north-west, Villemur-sur-Tarn in the east and south-east, Fronton in the south and Orgueil in the west.
