The Communauté de communes Grand Sud Tarn et Garonne is a French association of communes with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the Tarn-et-Garonne department in the Occitania region . It was founded on September 9, 2016 and comprises 26 parishes. The administrative headquarters are located in Labastide-Saint-Pierre .

Historical development

The community association was created with effect from January 1, 2017 through the merger of the predecessor organizations

  • Communauté de communes Garonne et Canal ,
  • Communauté de communes Garonne et Gascogne and
  • Communauté de communes du Terroir Grisolles Villebrumier .

With effect from January 1, 2018, the municipality of Lacourt-Saint-Pierre left the local association and joined the Communauté d'agglomération Grand Montauban .
