Conrad Hermann
Conrad Hermann (born May 30, 1819 in Anger near Leipzig ; † July 15, 1897 in Klosterlausnitz ) was a German philosopher and university professor.
Life
Hermann, the son of the philologist Gottfried Hermann , attended the St. Thomas School in Leipzig from secondary school . He then studied in Leipzig and Berlin, received his doctorate in 1840 and completed his habilitation in Leipzig in 1849, where he also held lectures from the winter semester of the same year, from 1861 as an associate professor and from 1881 as a full honorary professor.
He was a pupil of Hegel and was mainly concerned with the history of philosophy.
