Conrad Martin (born October 25, 1982 in Toronto , Ontario ) is a Canadian ice hockey player who has been under contract with KHL Medveščak Zagreb in the Austrian ice hockey league since 2009 .

Career

Conrad Martin began his career as a hockey player with the Wexford Raiders, for which he was active from 2000 to 2002 in the Ontario Junior Hockey League . Then the defender played four years for the team of Mercyhurst College before he made his debut in professional hockey for the end of the 2005/06 season, San Diego Gulls of the ECHL announced. After these were disbanded following the season, he joined their league rivals Cincinnati Cyclones , for whom he ran up over the next two years, spending much of the 2007/08 season with their cooperation partner Hamilton Bulldogs in the American Hockey League .

After Martin started the 2008/09 season with the Cincinnati Cyclones from the ECHL, he was hired by HK Jesenice , for which he was on the ice in the Austrian ice hockey league and the Slovenian ice hockey league in parallel until the end of the season and with which he stood in 2009 Was Slovenian champion straight away . For the 2009/10 season, the Canadian signed with their league rivals KHL Medveščak Zagreb , which was newly included in the Austrian ice hockey league before the season.
