Conrad Pridy (born July 17, 1988 in Vancouver ) is a retired Canadian ski racer . He was a member of the Canadian national team from 2012 to 2016 and was particularly successful in the fast downhill and super-G disciplines .
Pridy attended ski school in his hometown Whistler and joined the Whistler Mountain Ski Club . He was later added to the roster of the British Columbia Ski Team. His brother Morgan Pridy , who is two years younger, is also a ski racer and has been a member of the Canadian national team since 2011. Pridy drove his first FIS races in December 2003, the first starts in the Nor-Am Cup followed a year later. In addition to victories and podiums in FIS races, he was among the top 20 in the Nor-Am Cup several times from February 2007. He made it to the top in the 2010/2011 season when he made six in his strongest disciplines, Downhill and Super-G Once under the top ten and with three fourth places just missed his first podium finish. He was fifth in the downhill classification and tenth in the Super G classification.
Since the winter of 2011/2012 , Pridy has also competed in World Cup descents . After being far back in the results lists at the first starts with placements beyond the top 50, he won his first World Cup points in his fifth World Cup race on January 28, 2012 with place 25 in the downhill from Garmisch-Partenkirchen . Two weeks later he celebrated his first victory in the Nor-Am Cup on the downhill from Aspen . In the second Nor-Am downhill run from Aspen, he came third, securing second place in the discipline classification in 2011/2012 . After the end of winter he was accepted into the Canadian national team.
After the 2015/16 season , Pridy ended his active career.
