Conrad Wilbrandt

Conrad Wilbrandt , also Konrad Wilbrandt (born December 9, 1832 in Rostock ; † June 29, 1921 there ) was a writer, farmer and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Wilbrandt attended the large city school in Rostock . He then worked in various farms and in 1865 leased the Pisede estate, which belonged to the city of Malchin , with a brick factory. From 1882 to 1886 he edited the "Landwirthschaftliche Annalen des Mecklenburgischer Patriotischen Verein " and wrote various small treatises on agriculture and economics, such as "The sinking of prices under the rule of protective tariff policy," 1887 and a better-known literary work "Des Herr Friedrich Ost Experiences in the World of Bellamy, “1891.

From March 1885 to 1887 and from April 1892 to 1893 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituencies Malchin - Waren and Mecklenburg-Strelitz and the German Liberal Party .
