He also acted as editor of the humorous-satirical magazine "Don Goyo". He was a member of Grupo Florida and as such was instrumental in founding the magazine "Martín Fierro".

Nalé Roxlo published many of his little sketches and stories under the pseudonyms Chamico and Alguien . These were later published under this name in edited volumes and anthologies.

Although Nalé Roxlo belongs to Grupo Florida, he did not follow ultraism and showed his unmistakable style as early as 1923 with his debut "El grillo". As an admirer of Heinrich Heine , however, he can certainly notice slight echoes of the role model in his literary work. This work has received high praise from contemporary literary critics, especially Leopoldo Lugones . While in his first poems there was still a certain joie de vivre in the foreground, this changed over time into skepticism to an immeasurable world pain.

With his plays, Nalé Roxlo spanned an arc from gentle irony (“La cola de la sirèna”) to almost aggressive satire (“Una víuda difícil”). With the former he interprets Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale “ The Little Mermaid ” in a surprising new way; with the latter, he deals with the incipient collapse of society shortly before the May Revolution in the viceroyalty of the Río de la Plata or in Buenos Aires.
