The New York Conservative Party ( English Conservative Party of New York State ) is a conservative party active exclusively in the US state of New York . The party is considered the third largest in the state.

The Conservative Party's election results are usually in the single digits and election victories are rare. In 1970 the Conservative Party managed to appoint one of the two US Senators from New York. In the election, James L. Buckley , brother of influential Conservative publicist William F. Buckley, Jr. , ran the Conservative Party candidate with 38.52 percent of the vote against both the Republican incumbent (24.58 percent) and the candidate of the Democrats (36.9 percent) through.

From 1968 to 1974 the Conservative Party was represented in the New York State Assembly with one or two members.
