Constantin Carabela (born July 21, 1940 in Sinaia ) is a former Romanian biathlete .

Constantin Carabela started for the ASA Brașov club while he was active . He first took part in the Olympic Winter Games in Innsbruck in 1964 and finished the individual in 14th place. In addition to the Olympic champion Vladimir Melanin and the runner-up Alexander Priwalow , he was only one of three starters without a shooting error, but his bad running time - Carabella was 39th out of 49 runners - prevented an even better placement. Also in 1968 in Grenoble he reached 14th place in the individual and was also with Gheorghe Cimpoia , Nicolae Bărbăşescu and Vilmoş Gheorghe seventh in the first relay competition. Between the games he reached fifth place in the later Olympic line-up at the 1966 Biathlon World Championships in Garmisch-Partenkirchen with the relay that was held for the first time in the official program of the World Cup. In 1972 Carabela started in Sapporo for the third and final time at the Olympic Games. In the individual he only reached the 52nd place this time and was therefore not used in the relay, where Ion Țeposu took his place.
