Works

After completing his training, Sartori carried out various stucco work in the palaces of Potsdam and Sanssouci , in the late Frederician Rococo style .

In Berlin he made the sandstone figures of the gable field, statues from the life of Christ and the bas-reliefs above the main door of the German church on Friedrichsmarkt (later the Gendarmenmarkt ). He also adorned the French Cathedral on the same square in Berlin with similar sculptures . Finally, in Sartori's workshop, numerous stucco decorations were created for various private palaces and houses in Berlin and Potsdam . Some of his work later disappeared with the destruction or demolition of the buildings, although Sartori had a reputation for being a skilled artist.

Well-known works by Constantin Philipp Georg Sartori are the hermitage on Potsdam's Jungfernsee in the New Garden in Potsdam and the shell grotto in the New Garden . On the Pfaueninsel he created stucco work in the neo-Gothic hall of the dairy.

He created the richly decorated stucco elements for the rococo hall of the Max-Dortu-Grundschule Potsdam. The facade of the German Cathedral on Berlin's Gendarmenmarkt is adorned with sculptures from the life of Christ, which Sartori made based on models by the painter Bernhard Rode .
