Constel·lació Esportiva

Constel·lació Esportiva (also incorrectly spelled Constelació Esportiva ) is a former Andorran football club from the capital Andorra la Vella .

history

The club took part in the game operations in the Primera Divisió from 1998 to 2000 . In the first season he achieved fifth place with 35 points. In the following year he dominated the league without losing points and was champion with 70: 6 goals. In the same year he won the Cup when he defeated FC Encamp 6-0 in the final on June 4, 2000.

In the summer of 2000, the club was accused by the national association of trying to poach players from other Andorran clubs. There were also financial irregularities. It was said that the club owed the association money because, among other things, it violated the association's regulations when it did not want to share the income from the European Cup games with the other clubs in the association and withheld it. The club was therefore initially excluded from the game and in November of that year was forced relegation and a seven-year game ban. The actual (sporting) relegated Sporting Club d'Escaldes was allowed to remain in the league.
