Band history
The Construction project was initiated in the early 1990s by producers Peter Ries and Tillmann Uhrmacher . The group consisted of seven singers, including Helmut Wolff, Chris Djuritschek, Huso Bajric, Mikel Vigas, Klaus "KayCee" Kunz, Christian "Wesley" Westphal and Dean Kelmendi. It wasn't until 1996, after five years of existence, that What Is in Love achieved a chart success in Germany (38th place). The follow-up single My Heart Is Always Open still reached a lower position in the top 100 (95th place). In 1997 the group was awarded RSH Gold by Radio Schleswig-Holstein . There were no further successes.
In 2011, after a long break, Helmut Wolff and Chris Djuritschek were again under contract as Construction at the Nuremberg record label Loud Space Records . The single Get Funky was released , which went largely unnoticed.
